Wide-sole high-bounce lob wedge – GolfWRXers discuss
In our forums, one user is looking to stumble upon a rather rare wedge combination: a lob wedge that features both a wide sole and a high bounce.
@tgarit1 asked:
“Has anyone had any luck finding one?”
Our members in the forum shared some thoughts on finding this distinct wedge. Here are a few comments from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- saeeee: “Vokey K Grind, you could also get the 58, bend it weak 2 degrees, adds 2 degrees more bounce. Just depends I guess what you are looking for.”
- Tyler724: “Callaway W is another option, but I agree with others that I would give Vokey K grind a shot.”
- student of the game: “Maltby DRT Wedge in the Glider grind. I bought one thinking it would never get used (always been a Vokey M grind type of player) it has quickly become my favourite wedge not sure if i would call in high bounce at 6 degrees but the sole width definitely makes it feel like more.”
- OBbogey5: “Yes, MG4 HBW13. I like how flush the leading edge sits with all that bounce. I also made two green side bunker shots last summer, and felt like I was able to hit Gary Player draws out of the sand.”

From the GolfWRX Classifieds: Tour issue TaylorMade M5 10.5
At GolfWRX, we are a community of like-minded individuals who all experience and express our enjoyment of the game in many ways.
It’s that sense of community that drives day-to-day interactions in the forums on topics that range from best driver to what marker you use to mark your ball. It even allows us to share another thing we all love – buying and selling equipment.
Currently, in our GolfWRX buy/sell/trade (BST) forum, @ciddyboy7 is selling a tour issue TaylorMade M5 driver head, the 2019 release from TaylorMade that is still a favorite of many golfers.

From the listing:
Selling my Tour Issue, Taylormade M5 10.5 head only. It’s in excellent condition with a perfect top line and minor scuffing to the sole. The carbon fiber is all still perfect.
Picked this up on the boards a few years back, and has been COR tested. Was told by a WRX member that it was built for certain PGA Tour defector who is now back on the Tour, but I can’t prove that story.
Includes unused M5 head cover and always open to a trade
$165 obo shipped in the lower 48
