New for 2026, TaylorMade’s Qi4D fairway woods and hybrids
TaylorMade has today announced the release of its new Qi4D family of fairway woods and hybrids, which will be available for preorder at TaylorMadeGolf.com on January 8 and at retail locations on January 29.
“The Qi4D lineup of fairway woods and hybrids is a result of our relentless pursuit of industry-leading performance. Through the use of multi material construction, subtle refinements, optimized CG locations, and more adjustability than ever before, Qi4D fairway woods and hybrids pave the way for golfers to experience a heightened level of play ability and versatility at the top end of their bag.” – Brian Bazzel, Vice President of Product Creation
Qi4D fairway woods

Based on extensive tour feedback, Qi4D fairway wood heads (185cc) feature tucked protrusions in the heel and toe and refined sit points.

These features are designed not only to create a Tour-inspired shape to maintain tighter ball speed variances across the face, but also to offer a confidence-inducing profile in the address position.

In addition, the woods feature a face that sits slightly more open, a lie angle that’s flatter than the previous model, and an optimized CG location.

An 8g TAS weight is designed to allow golfers to optimize spin and launch in the most mass-efficient way possible. Additionally, four-degree loft sleeves are found in all lofts and allow golfers to fully customize loft, lie angle, and face angle to their specific needs.

Specs
- Lofts: 3-wood (15°), 3-HL (16.5°)((RH only)), 5-wood (18°), 7-wood (21°), 9-wood (24°((RH only))
- Shafts: REAX FW 65 (X, S), 55 (R, A)
- Grip: Golf Pride Z-Grip +2 Black/Silver 0.600 52g
Price: $379.99
Qi4D Tour Fairway Woods

The new Qi4D Tour fairway woods (175cc) employ advanced multi-material constructions. A 65g tungsten mass pad sits low and directly behind the titanium face, where it promotes high launch and lower spin, designed to result in shots that come off hot and maximize carry distance.

The sole of the club is titanium, and the crown is carbon, which allows for added discretionary weight. Qi4D Tour fairway woods utilize three TAS weights giving golfers the ability to more precisely optimize ball flight.

With the heavy weight in the back, golfers experience added stability. In addition, placing the heavy weight in the toe aims to promote fade bias, and putting the heavyweight in the heel encourages draw bias. All Qi4D Tour heads include a 4° loft sleeve which allows golfers full customization with the ability to dial in loft, lie angle and face angle.

Specs:
- Lofts: 3-wood (15°), 5-wood(18°), 7-wood (21°((RH only))
- Shafts: REAXFW75 (X, S) 65 (R)
- Grip: Golf Pride Z-Grip +2 Black/Silver 0.600 52
Price: $449.99
Qi4D Max and Max Lite Fairway Woods

The Qi4D Max and Qi4D Max Lite fairway woods are all about forgiveness with their 200cc heads and shallow face profile.

The large head size allowed TaylorMade engineers to push weight to the perimeter of the club in design to boost overall stability, help maintain ballspeed, and promote tighter downrange dispersion on mis-hits.

The rearward orientation of 8g TAS weight (in Qi4D Max) and 4gTAS weight (in Qi4D Max Lite) concentrates mass in the back of the head which also increases MOI in design to enhance stability and forgiveness.

Qi4D Max Lite fairway woods are aimed for golfers looking to maximize clubhead speed and carry distance. Their ultralight spec package includes the line’s lightest heads, shaft and grip. Qi4D Max and Qi4D Max Lite 3-and 5-woods employ a 4° loft sleeve giving golfers more adjustability for loft, lie angle and face angle.

Qi4D Max Fairway Wood Specs
- Lofts: 3-wood (15°), 5-wood (18°), 7-wood (21°), 9-wood (24°((RH only))
- Shafts: REAX FW55 (S, R, A)
- Grip: Golf Pride Z-Grip+2 Black/Silver 0.600 52g
Qi4D Max Lite Fairway Wood Specs
- Lofts: 3-wood (15°), 5-wood (18°), 7-wood (21°), 9-wood (24°((RH only))
- Shafts: REAXFW 45 (R, A)

Qi4D Hybrids
Like the Qi4D fairway woods, the Qi4D hybrids employ multi-material construction as well as incorporating a progressive top line, similar to what’s found in TaylorMade’s P Series and Qi Max irons.
Golfers will notice a slightly thinner top line in Qi4D hybrids, and a slightly thicker top line in Qi4D Max and Qi4D MaxLite hybrids. Along with a refined sight dash, each of the hybrids in the Qi4D line is more visually inviting at address.
Qi4D Rescue

The Qi4D hybrids employ a multi-material construction that combines 450 stainless steel with a carbon fiber crown to create the perfect balance of distance, forgiveness, versatility, and control.

The construction is designed to hit specific carry yardages with a steep angle of descent, making it easier for golfers to hold the green. All lofts also incorporate an 8g TAS weight and a three-degree loft sleeve, giving golfers options for adjustability and customization. The mid positioning of the TAS weight also balances the CG for optimized flight and workability.

Specs:
- Lofts: 2-hybrid (17°((RH only)), 3-hybrid (19°), 4-hybrid (22°), 5-hybrid (25°)
- Shafts: REAX85X, 75S, 65S, 55R
- Grip: Golf Pride Z-Grip +2 Black/Silver 0.600 52g
Qi4D Max Rescue

Qi4D Max hybrids are ideal for golfers looking for more forgiveness and high launch, while the larger head size bids to inspire confidence at address.

An 8g TAS weight is strategically positioned farther back in the head where it creates higher MOI for added forgiveness. Coupled with a lightweight carbon crown, the clubs are designed to allow golfers to benefit from added stability and higher launch.

Specs
- Lofts: 3-hybrid (20°),4-hybrid (23°), 5-hybrid (26°), 6-hybrid (30°((RH only)), 7-hybrid (34°((RH only))
- Shafts: REAX HY50 (S, R, A)
- Grip: Golf Pride Z-Grip +2 Black/Silver 0.600 52g
Qi4D Max Lite Rescue
The Qi4D Max Lite rescue is aimed at players looking to maximize clubhead speed.
The ultra light spec package includes the lightest head, shaft and grip options in the family, while the women’s offering is 32g lighter than the Qi4D Max hybrid.
A 4g TAS weight is positioned rearward in the clubhead where it promotes higher MOI and more forgiveness. Just like Qi4D Max hybrids, the Qi4D Max Lite heads employ a lightweight carbon crown and larger head size which maximize stability while also aiding in high launch.
Specs:
- Lofts: 4-hybrid (23°), 5-hybrid (26°), 6-hybrid (30°((RH only)), 7-hyrbid (34°((RHonly))
- Shafts: REAX HY40 (S, R, A)
- Grip: Golf Pride Z-Grip +2 Black/Silver 0.600 43g
Women’s Specs:
-
- Lofts: 4-hybrid (23°((RH only)), 5-hybrid (26°((RH only)), 6-hybrid (30°((RH only)), 7-hybrid (34°((RH only))
- Shaft: Reax Hy 40 (L)
- Grip: Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 Grey Cap 0.580 44g

Slab city on the Korn Ferry Tour — Lead Tape Report
This week, we have our Tour Photographer, Greg Moore, on the ground at the OccuNet Classic at Tascosa Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas, for the 14th event of the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season. With that, we see some great things in the Lead Tape Report as we roll into Amarillo.
Joel Thelen
Monday Qualifier, Joel Thelen is in the field this week. He has played on the Korn Ferry Tour for a full season in 2023, and he is back in action this week. A couple of clubs caught my eye this week in his bag.
First off: His trusted Titleist 816 H2 hybrid. This club came out in October of 2015, and it still remains strong in the bag. Also, take a look at this Odyssey White Hot OG 7, putting a capital S in the 7S model. This custom neck has some impressive lean for an arm-lock-style putter. The bottom of the putter is covered in tape for optimal weighting.

Mitchell Meissner
Taking a look at Mitchell Meissner’s bag this week, we have some great lead tape coverage. Top to bottom working from fairway metals, irons, and wedges. We can see on the short irons and wedges that there is tape at the base of the grip, adding a little counterbalance. Along with that, some tape on the short irons and wedges as well. Moving to his putter, he rolls the Odyssey 7 Bird putter. Meissner putts left-handed and strikes the ball right-handed.

- macedan: “Started with a hand-me-down Golden Bear set from my brother when I was in high school, never really played more than once a year or got into the game until about summer of 2017. First purchased a set of Cleveland CG4’s (I actually really miss this set sometimes, soft & not terribly large for a GI iron), moved into Nike Vapor Fly’s by the end of the year. Those lasted until spring of 18 when I decided I wanted new, so I traded them in for TM Rbladez. Honestly, although I liked the Rbladez, poor decision on my part, I think this was really about the only time so far that after a week or two I was kicking myself for not staying with what I had. Rbladez stayed with me until late last summer when I switched to P790’s and (knock on wood) I am hoping this will be my longest lasting set.”
