Look at the sweet spot of the putter. Think he consistently hits it there? Yep. Saw a set of Nicklaus’ old MacGregor irons, circa 1966 or so, in a display at the golf HOF when it was in Pinehurst. Every iron, including the two iron, had a dark, dime-sized circle in the dead center of the clubface. They play a different game…
