      Ping in name was also a marketing ploy. Having a name is , well , common. Usually descriptive . And often not really footed in sensibility. So ?

        I think he means because whenever you see someone with a Scotty, it’s a “prototype” and specifically made to that player’s specifications. Not really something your average golfer is going to have access to.
