1. Adidas Tech Response
Notable review: “Love, love, love these shoes. I’ve been golfing 38 years and have gone through more than a few golf shoes. These shoes, by far, are the most comfortable yet! Easy on/off too. They are light and the grip is just right. I’m very pleased with these shoes and I expect they’ll wear well. I do not expect them to be waterproof but I haven’t experience any issues playing in morning dew. I convinced you’ll be pleased if you get these shoes.”

2. FootJoy Flex

Notable review: “I got this shoe after much review. Some people claimed the FJ shoes weren’t water resistant like they claimed. I can tell you my first trip out was after an inch of rain so water and mud were plentiful and my feet stayed dry for 18 holes. The shoe is also very comfortable, offers good traction for not having the traditional cleats and maybe the best feature of all is its easy to clean for a white sole shoe.”
Get it from Amazon for $175.
3. FootJoy FJ Originals

Notable review: “I had a pair of these shoes for 20 years. I didn’t want a new pair but they were showing wear. The new ones are a perfect match and fit . If they last half as long as my last ones they are a great deal.”

4. Skechers Go Torque

Notable review: “I now own two pair of these shoes. A white and a black pair. They have kept my feet dry for two years and still look very good. The white is tough to keep clean and does show the wear, but the black ones look like new. Very comfortable shoes and give me a solid base when I swing. I don’t play down the middle of the course, so these shoes have seen creek beds, woods, sand and just about every terrain you can find on or around a golf course. Still have held up very well.”
Get it from Amazon for $81
5. FootJoy Traditions
Notable review: I’ve been hoping for a traditional-looking, all-leather spiked shoe from FJ that’s under $200 for a long time. And they went WAY under that. Great price. I’ve really enjoyed the Superlites and the Pro S/L, but wanted a spiked shoe that was…well…just exactly like these!

6. FootJoy Women’s FL Leisure

Notable review: “FootJoy has always made a great golf shoe, and the Women’s Fj Leisure Slip-on is no exception. My wife loves that it is a slip-on shoe requiring no tying of laces. The shoes do come with laces, but they are more for aesthetics than for function. The shoes are light, comfortable, and look sharp. They provide nice traction, and protect her feet from the wetness on the course. We picked these up at a really good price, making this purchase a no-brainer. Pick some up for yourself (or your wife), you will not be disappointed.”

7. FootJoy

Notable review: “he Golf Sneaker provides a roomy toe box but fits nice and snug in the heel region. It is light and soft and the waterproof promise has turned out to be exactly true. This shoe is really good for people with custom orthotics because it has the depth to accept them as well as my carbon fibre spring plates. Terrific shoe.”

8. Adidas S2g

Notable review: “These are by far the most comfortable golf shoes I’ve ever owned, and possibly the most comfortable shoes of any kind that I currently own. The fit is perfect, and I love that they are so lightweight. I sometimes buy wide shoes because some designs are too narrow, but I got the standard width and it is perfect. I was unsure how I would like a spikeless design, but stability and traction were great. Combined with the amazing comfort, I will never go back to spikes. Once you try these, neither will you.”

9. FootJoy eComfort

Notable review: “Tried these out over the weekend, and really love them. They are super comfortable.. Got them pretty muddy, and it just washed right off. I normally wear an 11, but had to go with an 11 wide.”
Get it from Amazon for $80
10. FootJoy Superlites SP

Notable review: “I purchased these shoes as a gift for my husband. He absolutely loved them! I went 1/2 size bigger than his regular shoe size because he has wide feet, it was a great decision since they fit him perfectly. After the first round of golf I asked how the shoes were, he just told me he wished they made this same model on regular shoes, because he would buy them in all colors.”
Get it from Amazon for $79
11. Skechers Go Max

Notable review: “These golf shoes fit perfectly and are what you would expect from Sketchers-comfort! I’ve worn them for about six rounds now and have no complaints. Good quality and a good grip from the small spikes in the sole. I would buy again.”
Get it from Amazon for $65
12. New Balance Striker V2

Notable review: “Great fitting golf show. Have used for several rounds of golf – both walking and on a cart. When walking the shoes feel great and have no issues after 18 holes. I wear a size 14 wide and these fit as expected.”

Slab city on the Korn Ferry Tour — Lead Tape Report
This week, we have our Tour Photographer, Greg Moore, on the ground at the OccuNet Classic at Tascosa Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas, for the 14th event of the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season. With that, we see some great things in the Lead Tape Report as we roll into Amarillo.
Joel Thelen
Monday Qualifier, Joel Thelen is in the field this week. He has played on the Korn Ferry Tour for a full season in 2023, and he is back in action this week. A couple of clubs caught my eye this week in his bag.
First off: His trusted Titleist 816 H2 hybrid. This club came out in October of 2015, and it still remains strong in the bag. Also, take a look at this Odyssey White Hot OG 7, putting a capital S in the 7S model. This custom neck has some impressive lean for an arm-lock-style putter. The bottom of the putter is covered in tape for optimal weighting.

Mitchell Meissner
Taking a look at Mitchell Meissner’s bag this week, we have some great lead tape coverage. Top to bottom working from fairway metals, irons, and wedges. We can see on the short irons and wedges that there is tape at the base of the grip, adding a little counterbalance. Along with that, some tape on the short irons and wedges as well. Moving to his putter, he rolls the Odyssey 7 Bird putter. Meissner putts left-handed and strikes the ball right-handed.

Name every set of irons you’ve owned – GolfWRXers discuss
In our forums, one user has offered up a prompt for the true sickos, inviting fellow forum members to share every set of irons they’ve ever owned. As to be expected, this is a lengthy forum topic.
@Lamosteve began:
Can you name every set of irons you’ve owned? Here’s mine
Spalding Dots
Spalding Eclipse
Ram Lazer FX
Lynx Parallax
Mizuno EZ Comp
Ben Hogans
Cleveland CG Red
Taylor Made R9s
PING i20
PING iE1
Taylor Made M6
Our members in the forum have been offering up their own collections. Here are a few posts from the thread, but make sure to check out the entire discussion and have your say at the link below.
- macedan: “Started with a hand-me-down Golden Bear set from my brother when I was in high school, never really played more than once a year or got into the game until about summer of 2017. First purchased a set of Cleveland CG4’s (I actually really miss this set sometimes, soft & not terribly large for a GI iron), moved into Nike Vapor Fly’s by the end of the year. Those lasted until spring of 18 when I decided I wanted new, so I traded them in for TM Rbladez. Honestly, although I liked the Rbladez, poor decision on my part, I think this was really about the only time so far that after a week or two I was kicking myself for not staying with what I had. Rbladez stayed with me until late last summer when I switched to P790’s and (knock on wood) I am hoping this will be my longest lasting set.”
- JimmyC59: “MacGregor Jack Nicklaus Triple Crown. Palmer The Standard. Still play these.”
- jgrzask: “Tommy Armour 845u
Mizuno MP-32
Mizuno MP-33 (2 sets)
Bridgestone J33cb – still own
Srixon i-302 (2 sets) – still own
Tourstage X-Blades – still own
Mizuno Hot Metal – still own
Nike Forged Blades – still own

Bought adidas codechaos shoes this year.. they have strange rust spots that won’t come off and my feet get soaking wet from morning dew. I contacted adidas and they said warranty is now only 6 months . Garbage company who won’t stand behind their defective crap. Footjoy from now on!!

Nice, recommend shoes and then get royalties if someone uses the link to buy them. Does not provide the appearance of being objective…..
