What is Rapsodo’s Insights platform?
Rapsodo Insights is a new addition to Rapsodo’s MLM platform. It allows golfers to gain valuable information and access an unparalleled practice tool to learn more about their game.

Rapsodo’s Insights tool offers golfers the chance to analyze distance through three different portals. The tool also provides a distance summary, which users can assess and compare the total shot trajectory for each club with data such as launch angle, peak height, ball speed and carry distance included to make sure a player’s gapping is on point.
Smash Factor is not overlooked in the company’s Insights platform, with the Smash Factor Optimization tool providing players feedback regarding their SF performance (ball speed divided by swing speed), as well as suggestions on alterations for you to match up your ball speed and swing speed to an optimal number.

The Launch Angle Optimization feature allows players an insight into their distance gains and losses when looking at modified launch angles, with players capable of seeing what happens with an altered shot trajectory and launch angle.
The Insights Accuracy tool measures a player’s dispersion in three ways: lateral dispersion, distance dispersion and dispersion index vs pro percentage. After taking a number of swings with a club, the tool will draw a circle around the group of shots, offering them lateral (left-right) and distance (front-back) dispersion numbers.
Insights also focuses on Consistency through two categories: Ball Striking Consistency and Shot Shape Consistency.

Ball Striking Consistency provides players feedback on how well they hit the ball relative to different handicap indexes, while Shot Shape Consistency challenges players to see how often they can produce their preferred shot shape.
Insights is a free platform for golfers that currently have a Rapsodo MLM premium subscription ($99 a year) and can be downloaded by updating the latest version of the MLM app on your iOS device. It requires a Hitting 2.0 or Pitching 2.0 unit.
A limited Insights tool can also be accessed for free for users without an MLM premium subscription.
Rapsodo’s Mobile Launch Monitor
Rapsodo’s Mobile Launch Monitor is a user-friendly instruction and golf swing analysis platform allowing students to record, save and analyze up to 100 shots (1000s with a subscription), in real-time, from launch angles, club speed, ball speed, apex trajectory and more.
Usable indoors, the MLM allows users to learn their yardages for each club through integrated GPS mapping.

The feature allows golfers to also optimize their ball flight through shot tracing visuals, and in addition, players will have the option to listen to their show data through a voice option.
Another vital detail that Rapsodo has nailed with their MLM is the ability to optimize your club gapping. Through the platform, users are shown where they have too much of a pronounced gap in their clubs, allowing golfers to dial in their yardages for optimal gapping throughout the bag.

Slab city on the Korn Ferry Tour — Lead Tape Report
This week, we have our Tour Photographer, Greg Moore, on the ground at the OccuNet Classic at Tascosa Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas, for the 14th event of the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season. With that, we see some great things in the Lead Tape Report as we roll into Amarillo.
Joel Thelen
Monday Qualifier, Joel Thelen is in the field this week. He has played on the Korn Ferry Tour for a full season in 2023, and he is back in action this week. A couple of clubs caught my eye this week in his bag.
First off: His trusted Titleist 816 H2 hybrid. This club came out in October of 2015, and it still remains strong in the bag. Also, take a look at this Odyssey White Hot OG 7, putting a capital S in the 7S model. This custom neck has some impressive lean for an arm-lock-style putter. The bottom of the putter is covered in tape for optimal weighting.

Mitchell Meissner
Taking a look at Mitchell Meissner’s bag this week, we have some great lead tape coverage. Top to bottom working from fairway metals, irons, and wedges. We can see on the short irons and wedges that there is tape at the base of the grip, adding a little counterbalance. Along with that, some tape on the short irons and wedges as well. Moving to his putter, he rolls the Odyssey 7 Bird putter. Meissner putts left-handed and strikes the ball right-handed.
