Tour Edge Exotics mini driver review + TaylorMade Spider ZT Max first look – Club Junkie
On this episode of Club Junkie, I put the new Tour Edge Exotics Mini Driver to the test and break down the performance, forgiveness, distance, and where it fits compared to a traditional driver or strong fairway wood. If you have been curious about adding a mini driver to the bag, this one is worth a look.
I also dive into the new TaylorMade Spider ZT Max putter that was recently spotted and discuss the growing zero torque putter trend. Plus, there is a closer look at the new Project X Titan Yellow shaft showing up on the PGA Tour and what makes it different from other profiles currently out there.

Club Junkie: Ping i540 irons review + L.A.B. VZN.1i putters and Graphite Design shaft sightings
On this episode of Club Junkie, I dive into the brand-new Ping i540 irons and talk about where they fit in the lineup, their performance on the course, and who I think they are really made for. There is a lot to love — and maybe one complaint in the new i540 irons.
The show also covers the new L.A.B. VZN.1i putters that have started showing up, plus some new Graphite Design Tour AD shafts spotted out on the PGA Tour and what makes them interesting. Wrapping things up, I might swap a few shafts into some putters and talk through how those changes might completely alter feel and performance.

Pretty hard to knock Sergio out of ‘career prick’ title – but Reed certainly has.
When DJ grounded his club in a shit zone spectators were allowed to walk through & stand in as part of the gallery, he got whacked & cost him the tournament because he failed to read the notices put up in the locker room & available to be picked up by every player & caddie STATING “EVERYTHING IS A WASTE AREA/HAZARD”…
HE Should’ve known. He didn’t, he didn’t deliberately cheat or improve his lie.
As an overly pampered tour player, with the same perfect Tour sand every week, he was NOT expecting to wind up in a footprint…OH Well….rule 35. Shit Happens rule…
I’ve been to many annual rules clinics and for 20+ yrs things like spike marks, hitting a perfect drive dead center fairway & winding up in a 3” deep hack-divot no one repaired or 1/4 filled with sand – had always been denied by USGA Top rules guys as “rub of the green” – I asked again about mid fairway events – my ball plugged, I get to lift clean & place & 6 feet away, my competitor’s ball manages to ‘pop out’ but has a big clump of mud on it & ‘tough luck’- he’s gotta play that ball. The official reply was “Bad luck has to start somewhere”…?!? IN the middle of the fairway?!?
Reed deliberately cheated and he knew it. Should have been DQ’d.
Lost all respect for that cat.
