WATCH: Sean Toulon on what golfers aren’t good at and how technology tries to help
Ryan Barath caught up with Sean Toulon, SVP of Callaway/General Manager of Odyssey Golf, at Callaway’s Epic Flash launch event last week. They discussed Odyssey’s new Stroke Lab shaft, and the latest wares from both Odyssey and Toulon Design, as well as what most golfers struggle with on the green, and how putter and shaft technology aims to help correct common problems.

Guess what Sean, you’re not good at making custom Toulon blade putters that are supposed to sit square at address yet sits >10 degrees open when soled with minimal to no grip pressure at address and then charging $500 for them. Quit your day job, please.

Fantastic technological discovery…. more weight in the head and hands, and less weight with a graphite shaft for vastly improved performance. This will destroy all the other putter companies who still have neanderthal designs. Callaway have a winner!!!

Amateur hour. I produce TV commercials and you almost always use mics close to the chin, or hand-held mics just out of frame to the top. Never, never use the mic on the camera. Jeez.
