One of the hardest feeling Mizuno irons ever produced. I had these in the bag for 3 weeks until I went back to my mp4’s. You can’t even believe they are made by Mizuno…or forged, even.

I totally concur. Vijay’s caddie said Vijay dumped them due to feel. Just wasn’t there.

I tried to love them. Didn’t even LIKE them a little. Too bad because they look great at address.

Be nice to know what irons you’re referring to here. You offer no context so the comment is meaningless.

Fairly obvious since 90% of the content in the podcast is about brooks irons and the photo above. JPX 900 Tour.

And if they feel hard with proV1. They are hard. Fairly common complaint about the tours from guys used to MP.

Please in the future if you could time stamp the podcast, I’d really appreciate it. It’s hard to dedicate an hour to listen to the entire Podcast.

Club Junkie: Ping i540 irons review + L.A.B. VZN.1i putters and Graphite Design shaft sightings

Published

on

On this episode of Club Junkie, I dive into the brand-new Ping i540 irons and talk about where they fit in the lineup, their performance on the course, and who I think they are really made for. There is a lot to love — and maybe one complaint in the new i540 irons.

The show also covers the new L.A.B. VZN.1i putters that have started showing up, plus some new Graphite Design Tour AD shafts spotted out on the PGA Tour and what makes them interesting. Wrapping things up, I might swap a few shafts into some putters and talk through how those changes might completely alter feel and performance.
