what’s the deal with the Epic ‘Star’? What’s the difference?

Interesting two weights in the Epic driver.

They add a weight when the shaft length is shorter than standard. I have a 44′ Epic and i found out they do this to keep the feel of the weight in the head. The thing i noticed is that it launches higher and imparts a lot more spin. My guess is that the lead tape reduces some of the spin by moving weight closer to the face.

Lead tape all over the clubs! What’s wrong with them?
