Tour Mash: Snedeker sneaks out his 8th win at Torrey
Did anyone watch the conclusion of the Farmers Insurance Open?

Sunday wasn’t kind to the PGA Tour, and Monday wasn’t much better. High winds were forecast for the 11 a.m. Monday start, so the gates were closed for safety reasons to the paying public. With toppled trees on the premises, you can see why.
On a day where nearly the entire field is over par, Brandt Snedeker is 3 under. He keeps doing this. #QuickHits https://t.co/VzuAIWrBt1

Brandt Snedeker was in the catbird’s seat in the clubhouse at 6-under par after a brilliant Round 3. Jimmy Walker had a one stroke lead over Snedeker entering Monday, but that lead quickly disappeared, as the elements got the best of most everyone.
The harsh conditions on Monday allowed Snedeker to watch as his 8th PGA Tour victory fell into his lap. Or maybe watching the event, rather than playing, wasn’t as easy as it seemed.
Well, this is way worse than playing.. Don’t know how players families do this..

U.S. Open one-word preview: Azinger!
It’s rare that the people’s choice comes out ahead, but in the case of Greg Norman’s replacement as lead golf analyst for Fox Sports’ U.S. Open coverage, it has come to pass. The American golfing public signed on to Azinger when he directed the U.S. Ryder Cup team to its only victory in the past seven matches, utilizing a unique and successful “Pod” approach to his lineups. Now, he will again be their darling in June at Oakmont Country Club. “Zinger” will also be in the tower for the Women’s Open, Senior Open, U.S. Amateur and the 2017 Walker Cup.

Curtis Thompson appeared to be in control of the season-opening Panama Claro championship on the Web.com Tour, sitting at 10-under after two rounds. The young Floridian opened the door with a 2-over weekend, and Ryan Armour stepped through with 65-64 over the final 36 holes. Armour earned a three-stroke win over Kyle Thompson, despite closing with a bogey on the final green. Armour’s charge was fueled by third and fourth-round eagles on the No. 4, a par-5.
Grace defends at Qatar Masters

Scotland’s Paul Lawrie was gunning for his third Qatar Masters title, while South Africa’s Brandon Grace sought to defend his 2014 victory in Doha. Things went sour early for Lawrie, while Grace played brilliantly with one of only four Saturday rounds in the 60s. With his win, Grace became the first man to successfully repeat as champion at the Doha Golf club. His final-round 69 included four birdies and one bogey, leaving him two strokes clear of runner-up Rafael Cabrera-Bello of Spain.
Song sings Singapore Open tune

He’s no giant slayer, but Song Younghan might be mistaken for one. The Korean golfer played his final seven holes at the Singapore Open in par numbers to edge Jordan Spieth by a stroke. Song drilled a long par putt on the 16th hole to steady his nerves, then closed the door on Spieth with solid strikes down the stretch. As the seflie-session after the round suggests, Spieth was gracious in defeat. Of course, he did pocket a $1.2 million appearance fee, so it was a win-win endeavor for young Spieth.

Hyo-Joo Kim made the birdies flow on Sunday in the Bahamas. The young Korean recorded eight chirps against one bogey in Round 4 to dispatch perennial runner-up Stacy Lewis and countrywoman Sei Young Kim by two. Lewis used to be money when the heat was on, but lately, the Arkansas alumna can’t find a way to win. After claiming three titles in 2014, Lewis finished in second spot six times last season, and has another near-miss to start the new year.

GolfWRX’s Father’s Day Gift Guide (2026)
A reminder from your friends at GolfWRX: Father’s Day is June 21. And as we do every year, we’re rounding up the best gifts for dad.
As we say every year, there’s no better golf-related Father’s Day gift than a round of golf with pops. Be it a country club or your favorite muni, take the time to get together to play 18 if you can.
Let’s get to the gifts.
Ghost Golf Qualifier Diamond Polo

We like the new polos that Ghost is offering, as the fabric and fit are so good. These new Qualifier Collection polos breathe well, are lightweight, stretch with your swing, and of course look great. You can wear them on the course, in the office, or just out at a casual event and they will fit right in.
STR8-Strip Grip Tape Remover

If your dad is an equipment aficionado and tinkers with his clubs, this tool works wonders. Removing grip tape has never been easier, just put a little head on the tape and the STR8-Strip peals it right off the shaft without any damage.
Why Golf: Putting Thing

When it comes to practice, it is good to have a purpose. This “Putting Thing” sure does it. We know from personal experience how challenging it can be and how rewarding it is on the practice green. This also provides some competition for your kiddo to see who will unload the dishwasher or do the next chore around the house.
OluKai Lae‘ahi Men’s Breathable Slip-On Shoes

Riding to and from the course in style and comfort is always a good thing. If you’re in a hurry, it’s a nice feature to slide into your shoes and get to the tee time. For the post-game shoe, at your locker or while putting your clubs away in the car. Nice to slide into a shoe that looks good anywhere. Pair that with meeting the family for dinner, no need to change!
Therabody Theragun Relief

A little wellness goes a long way. Keeping loose is a good way to go when it comes to the weekend game or treatment during the week. If there is a little ache or pain, the Theragun is there to help out. Help loosen up the back for a pre-game warm-up or cool-down.
World Cup golf apparel

Something for the soccer dads. Embrace the World Cup fever this summer on the course with custom gear to support the nation of your choice.
FootJoy Pro SL spikeless golf shoes

Give the old man a break and save his feet with the Footjoy Pro SL Men’s Spikeless Golf Shoes for some added comfort on the course.
Bushnell Wingman 2 GPS speaker

Combine all the hits as well as some game improvement with the Wingman 2 Golf GPS Speaker by getting audible distance readings from 38,000+ courses worldwide through the Wingman 2 remote or speaker.
Personalized Titleist Pro V1 golf balls

The No. 1 ball in golf is a safe bet, and the Pro V1 fits the largest chunk of the bell curve if you don’t know what ball pops plays. Add personalization for a, well, personal touch!
