Photos from the 2014 LPGA International Crown
GolfWRX is live this week from the inaugural LPGA International Crown, which is a global match play competition that includes eight teams consisting of four players, each representing their nation. The host course for the event is Caves Valley Golf Club located in Owing Mills, Md.
Eight teams are divided into two pools. Pool A includes the United States, Thailand, Spain and Chinese Taipei, and Pool B includes the Republic of Korea, Japan, Sweden and Australia. The matches between nations will consist of two four-ball matches to determine the winner in bracket-style play.
Notable names in the competition include Stacy Lewis (USA), the world No. 1 player according to the Rolex Rankings, Inbee Park (KOR, No. 3), Lexi Thompson (USA, No. 5), Karrie Webb (AUS, No. 7), So Yeon Ryu (KOR, No. 9), Christie Kerr (USA, No. 10), Anna Nordqvist (SWE, No. 11), Paula Creamer (USA, No. 12) and Na Yeon Choi (KOR, No. 18).

With the PGA Tour across the border in Canada this week, GolfWRX Tour Photographer Greg Moore stayed stateside and headed to the OccuNet Classic presented by Amarillo National Bank in Amarillo, Texas.
It’s always interesting to see what the guys are playing on the KFT, and this week certainly hasn’t disappointed so far, with some incredible wedge stamping on display.
