WITB Time Machine: Dustin Johnson’s winning WITB, 2016 U.S. Open
At the 2016 U.S. Open, Dustin Johnson rose above the rest with a 4-under total (5 under, IKYK) for four day’s work at Oakmont. A final-round 1-under 69 had him hoisting the U.S. Open trophy at Oakmont, three shots clear of Jim Furyk, a faltering Shane Lowry, and Scott Piercy. The victory was Johnson’s first major championship.
