WITB Time Machine: Rory McIlroy’s winning WITB, 2019 RBC Canadian Open
We’re taking the time machine back to 2019 at Hamilton Golf & Country Club in Ontario when Rory McIlroy delivered a scintillating final-round 61. The 22-under total gave the Ulsterman an incredible seven-shot victory over runners-up Shane Lowry and Webb Simpson. Nine under through 14 holes, McIlroy flirted with golf’s magic number. However, a bogey on the 16th hole ended his pursuit, and he ultimately settled for a 61.
