How much money every player made at the 2025 PGA Championship

The 2025 PGA Championship delivered high drama — and historic payouts. Scottie Scheffler, who, after some mid-round drama Sunday, ultimately cruised a five-shot victory, earned more than $3 million for his efforts.

In addition to Scheffler’s big check, as a whole, the 2025 PGA Championship has set a new high mark for prize money, continuing a trend of year-over-year growth in the tournament’s purse. Over the past five years, the total purse has nearly doubled, growing from $11 million in 2020 to a record $19 million this year. Although still trailing The Players Championship, which offers $25 million, the PGA Championship now stands as the second-richest event in golf. Cut-missers all grossed $4,000 for their week’s work.

Scheffler’s $3.42 million total is $90,000 more than what Xander Schauffele received for his 2024 win. A full breakdown of the 2025 payouts is listed below.
