PXG launches all-new 0211 putter series

Published

on

PXG has introduced its all-new 0211 putter series with five new flat-sticks with a mix of blade and mallet-style clubheads.

For the 0211 putter series, PXG created a new Runway Reticle alignment feature which is a focal point for this entire putter series.

The alignment aid presents a geometric, arrow-like aid designed to support enhanced face awareness and control. This visual mechanism pairs with a topline alignment feature specific to each model in a bid to provide players with an improved aim throughout the putting stroke.

A flared cavity design offers additional visual cues and helps save critical mass from the center of the clubhead. This mass saving is repositioned to the perimeter of the clubhead for increased moment of inertia (MOI) and improved stroke stability.

Speaking on the new additions, PXG Founder and CEO Bob Parsons said

“With so much of the game won or lost on the green, a putter that helps you consistently lock on target is essential. Whether you are just getting into golf or simply struggle to line it up straight, our new Runway Reticle alignment aid makes finding your line easy. Paired with our patented Pyramid Face Technology, these babies will help you putt with confidence and ultimately help save you strokes.”

All five clubheads are cast from 303 stainless steel and present a milled Pyramid Face Pattern. This design is optimized to help improve mishit performance and ensure consistency in significant factors that affect ball speed, spin, and roll.

PXG 0211 putters

PXG 0211 V-42 putter

Named after the notorious battlefield blade, the V-42 Putter is the only mid-mallet putter in the PXG 0211 Putter lineup. Combined with a heel-shafted hosel, this putter is designed to help golfers deliver the clubface square, especially for those who tend to over-rotate the clubhead at impact.

PXG 0211 Bayonet putter

A traditionally shaped blade with a high MOI for a blade-style putter, the Bayonet Putter is one of the lightest putters in the 0211 lineup and is designed to deliver calibrated control. The PXG 0211 Bayonet Putter is paired with a plumber’s neck hosel in design to help golfers square the clubface at contact.

PXG 0211 Hellcat putter

The PXG 0211 Hellcat Putter is a heavy blade putter built for consistent control and ball speed. This putter is aimed at golfers who prefer a traditional shape and heavier feel. Paired with a plumber’s neck hosel, the Hellcat Putter is designed for golfers with a straight or slightly arced stroke and mild face rotation.

PXG 0211 Clydesdale putter

The longest of all the 0211 Putters from heel-to-toe, the Clydesdale Putter’s well-balanced, elongated design was engineered to deliver an extremely high MOI for a blade-style putter. The Clydesdale Putter incorporates a plumber’s neck hosel that bids to help golfers deliver the clubhead square and on target.

PXG 0211 Lightning putter

As the heaviest putter in the PXG 0211 Putter lineup, the Lightning Putter is designed to deliver extreme stability and consistency. Its wide-body design creates space for a significantly flared dual-step geometry and Runway Reticle alignment aid to help golfers maintain focus. Paired with a double bend hosel, which creates a face-balanced hang angle, the Lightning putter is aimed at golfers who tend to push the ball.

Unlike PXG’s flagship Battle Ready putters, hosels in the 0211 series are not interchangeable. Instead, each hosel has been carefully selected in design for optimum performance with each clubhead design.

These are not appealing. The “runway” design is horrible IMO.

Slab city on the Korn Ferry Tour — Lead Tape Report

Published

on

This week, we have our Tour Photographer, Greg Moore, on the ground at the OccuNet Classic at Tascosa Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas, for the 14th event of the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season. With that, we see some great things in the Lead Tape Report as we roll into Amarillo.

Joel Thelen

Monday Qualifier, Joel Thelen is in the field this week. He has played on the Korn Ferry Tour for a full season in 2023, and he is back in action this week. A couple of clubs caught my eye this week in his bag.

First off: His trusted Titleist 816 H2 hybrid. This club came out in October of 2015, and it still remains strong in the bag. Also, take a look at this Odyssey White Hot OG 7, putting a capital S in the 7S model. This custom neck has some impressive lean for an arm-lock-style putter. The bottom of the putter is covered in tape for optimal weighting.

Mitchell Meissner

Taking a look at Mitchell Meissner’s bag this week, we have some great lead tape coverage. Top to bottom working from fairway metals, irons, and wedges. We can see on the short irons and wedges that there is tape at the base of the grip, adding a little counterbalance. Along with that, some tape on the short irons and wedges as well. Moving to his putter, he rolls the Odyssey 7 Bird putter. Meissner putts left-handed and strikes the ball right-handed.
