Real Madrid football star Gareth Bale’s TaylorMade WITB
For soccer/football fans, Gareth Bale needs no introduction, but for those who aren’t followers of the beautiful game, the Welshman is a four-time Champions League winner and an absolute golf nut.
Bale’s love of golf is so strong that he has been rumored to be considering retiring from football when his contract runs out next year with Real Madrid to focus on a new career in golf.
The 32-year-old is supporting this week’s Cazoo Open at Celtic Manor Resort, and ahead of the event, TaylorMade gave us a look inside his own iron and wedge setup.

Per the sheet, Bale is exclusively a TaylorMade player but plays a combo of the brand’s P770 irons (3-5) and MC iron model (6-PW).
The Welshman’s wedge set up is also interesting, with Bale fitted for a 59-degree lob wedge, a 55-degree sand wedge, a 51-degree gap wedge, while his PW is 47 degrees.
Bale also has an 18 degree TaylorMade SIM UDI in the bag, and if you want to know how serious he is about golf, the below photo (much to the dismay of his employers) probably says it all.

49 degree PW? That might not be doctor level scribble but that spec sheet says 47 degree.
