He carries a 18 degree 5 wood AND a 19 degree hybrid AND a 4 iron? I’d like to know his gapping on these clubs.

I am guessing it is more conditional choices than gapping that led to that line up. Most pros shuffle the top and bottom of their bags based on the course.

The putter in the photo is not the putter Kevin Na used to win this Sony Open.
It was a Toulon but not this one.

He has got a full Callaway bag with the one PXG hybrid. Quite interesting. How does Callaway feel about that? ?

Based on his woods, I would say he chose those clubs and he doesn’t have a full bag contract. Full bag staffers are usually required to carry the latest and greatest woods.

Kevin can win with anything cuz the man just can flat out putt.

Wait a minute! Hold the phone! This guy won without 200 plus ball speed?!?! You mean there’s more to the game?! Wow amazing.

It is because of the course. Waialae is quite narrow and disarms the big hitters. Premium on accuracy.

And just like that, you solved the distance debate . Don’t restrict the ball or the athlete. Make the track harder
