Not knocking the irons, but questionable if Jon will go the other way with driving accuracy, and he should have left the TM Spider in the bag. I guarantee the 2-Ball will disappear with all his 3-putt bogeys. Watching Torrey Pines on Sat right now and he’s going backwards. How many players have changed manufacturers and it was an obvious mistake.

Oh yea…Chrome Soft or TP5/TP5X? I wouldn’t touch a Callaway ball.

He’s got a WD in the bag this week at the American Express…

Just don’t get it. Doesn’t need the money. One of the best players in the world looking for ‘something’ to break through in majors , restricting himself to one manufacturer seems like a misfire

It’s too bad he downgraded to Callaway. He was the best in the world at one point using TaylorMade. He is overtaken by a guy who is playing TaylorMade. Now he’s going to be lucky if he stays in the top 10 using Callaway.

He just won the US Open using Callaway. Some of these comments didn’t age well.

Is Rahm playing the round or off center Chrome Soft X ball.
Change can be dangerous

Gets to #1 and is now #2 with TM. How many guys have switched clubs and ball and didn’t do jack afterwards? Aye cuidado! #JustinRose

It’s awesome that Tour Pro’s get whatever they want and specialty equipment, but sort of obnoxious that Callaway signs the #2 player in the world, and more than half of this dude’s bag is made up of unreleased equipment or equipment that regular golfers will never have access to.

Everything but his ball are going to be retail clubs, you always have the option to get custom fitted to whatever extreme you are willing to pay for.

Don’t see why it’s obnoxious, he’s the number 2 player in the world and needs different equipment. 99.9% of golfers will never know what it’s like to be as good as he is.

How do you think the unreleased clubs go from the drawing board to store shelves? Would you get average players to try them out in a focus group or would you get the best players in the world to try them and get their opinions? I’d hazard a guess that the PGA tour is a better testing ground than the local muni …
