Very interesting to see his driver setting. He reduced the spin with lower loft and used the weights for stability. A huge advantage because he can hit UP consistently. I don’t see taller players capable doing that too often. He basically forged what LPGA players are doing into his driver technique. No wonder he is mind-blowing long and laser accurate at the same time.

Why does Rory’s 5-wood shaft looks like the non pro version of the Tensei line? In fact it looks like the non pro version of the blue line rather than the CK pro white he has in his driver and his 3-wood.

Rory and Tiger have custom blade irons from TaylorMade.
Rorys are P-730s and Tigers are P7-TWs
Despite their relatively sinple forged blade designs, both these models are RH Only.
Since TaylorMade has no plans to change, my $2,000 will go elsewhere.

Seeing as blades make up less than 2% of the total club market, LH would be what, 0.5 at best. They’ve done the math, they’ll survive…

Rory is the best. He’s cool too. Brooks sucks and can’t drive the ball, talk about a bum. Rory bombs them 350 drops a wedge to 1 foot and taps in for birdie or eagle. The best.
Brooks can’t play hard golf courses and he’s going to be down to top 20 next year.

I know Brooks is showing some big nuts on Tour but when Rory is on there is no one in his way.
Kuchar does suck.

He hit the shot left handed… every single tour pro to ever play the game tries to use rules to their advantage. He checked to see if he could use them to his advantage in that scenario and decided against it.
How is that “cheating”?

He might give him all of it – he certainly doesn’t need it.
