Michelle Wie signs multi-year equipment contract with Callaway
Michelle Wie has signed a multi-year equipment contract with Callaway Golf that will have the U.S. Women’s Open champion using the company’s golf clubs and balls, including an Odyssey putter.
“Joining Callaway feels like a natural partnership,” Wie said. “I believe that they make the best equipment in golf, and that their clubs are really going to help me have a great year. I also admire how they make the game fun and accessible to fans, and make them feel like they are part of the experience. That’s something that’s really important to me.”
The 27-year-old has been one of the most well-known golfers in the sport for the better part of her life. At the age of 10, she became the youngest player to qualify for a USGA Amateur Championship, the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links. At 13, she won the U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links and became youngest ever make an LPGA Tour cut. At the age of 14, she played in a PGA Tour event, the Sony Open in her native Hawaii, barely missing the cut.
Since turning professional at the age of 16, Wie has won four times on the LPGA Tour, including the 2014 U.S. Women’s open. She also graduated from Stanford University, and has also competed on four U.S. Solheim Cup teams.
Wie is currently ranked No. 180 in the Rolex Rankings.

Photos from the 2026 OccuNet Classic
With the PGA Tour across the border in Canada this week, GolfWRX Tour Photographer Greg Moore stayed stateside and headed to the OccuNet Classic presented by Amarillo National Bank in Amarillo, Texas.
It’s always interesting to see what the guys are playing on the KFT, and this week certainly hasn’t disappointed so far, with some incredible wedge stamping on display.

I met her in Hawaii and she’s full of herself! I don’t wish her bad stuff, and hope with the new gear she’ll find her form and play well!
Anyone who has a major against the very best on the planet has skills!
I still think she’s a tool, though!

For all you Nay sayers. Eat Crow. It’s amazing how many people can slam her. She’s great for women’s golf and golf in general. She’s got game and now that she’s graduated from Stanford and can concentrate full time on golf. Look out. Her last tournament is just getting her started to what the golf media pictured what she should be.
Go WEIZY!!

If anything, at least she got her degree from Stanford. Those are hard to come by these days. I was never a fan of her underbite or long waisted torso.

Something tells me there will be some modeling of ladies golf attire involved. Her game sucks, but she ain’t ugly.

Not ugly, but not very good looking either. Nice long legs though

Wow….what was Callaway thinking here??? Her game has gone South quickly and still dropping. I guess they will take anyone after losing Lydia.

She became rich from her contract with Nike. There was a time when she was expected to be one of the LPGA all time greats. Despite one notable win at Pinehurst, she is among the biggest examples of not achieving her potential in golf history. I wonder how much the 180th ranked player on the Ladies tour is worth in terms of marketing golf equipment? I’d wager that due to her looks and the amount of attention she receives it’s still a fairly sizable figure.
