Adidas to release Ryder Cup-inspired golf shoes

Published

on

To celebrate the 41st Ryder Cup, Adidas will launch two new versions of its Tour 360 Boost golf shoes: a Team USA model and a Team Europe model.

Official known as the “Chaska” edition Tour 360 Boost (the Ryder Cup takes place at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnestota), the Team USA model ($220 MSRP) will be available in the U.S. on September 26. The Team Europe shoe is currently available in Europe.

I have to say, the boost shoes are worth every penny. The comfort is incredible! When I take mine off, my regular shoes feel hard and stiff compared to my Tour360s. I have a bad knee, but after swapping into these upon recommendation of my physio, the pain is far less.

I was a die hard FootJoy wearer all my life, but the comfort and cushioning in these will have me never wearing golf shoe without boost cushion.

Allow me to expand on what Boobsey said:

The number of golfers is NOT growing, Golfsmith is going bankrupt because they are not making enough sales, can only mean one thing, people are not buying golf equipment, specially $220 golf shoes!

Whats the point of having team shoes if you don’t include the team colours?.?.?

Good call, but I doubt any shoe Ryder cup guys have ever worn have been made in America. Although at that ridiculous price, people might thing they were made in America. Would love to know which exec at Adidas approves this kind of stupid stuff. No American colors. Stupid pricing. Lol.

Boring shoes for Adidas. And if they are based on the Adi Zero’s at all, they will be the most uncomfortable golf shoe you’ve ever worn. The usual ridiculous price tag is just amazing. Companies still don’t get it.

Slab city on the Korn Ferry Tour — Lead Tape Report

Published

on

This week, we have our Tour Photographer, Greg Moore, on the ground at the OccuNet Classic at Tascosa Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas, for the 14th event of the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season. With that, we see some great things in the Lead Tape Report as we roll into Amarillo.

Joel Thelen

Monday Qualifier, Joel Thelen is in the field this week. He has played on the Korn Ferry Tour for a full season in 2023, and he is back in action this week. A couple of clubs caught my eye this week in his bag.

First off: His trusted Titleist 816 H2 hybrid. This club came out in October of 2015, and it still remains strong in the bag. Also, take a look at this Odyssey White Hot OG 7, putting a capital S in the 7S model. This custom neck has some impressive lean for an arm-lock-style putter. The bottom of the putter is covered in tape for optimal weighting.

Mitchell Meissner

Taking a look at Mitchell Meissner’s bag this week, we have some great lead tape coverage. Top to bottom working from fairway metals, irons, and wedges. We can see on the short irons and wedges that there is tape at the base of the grip, adding a little counterbalance. Along with that, some tape on the short irons and wedges as well. Moving to his putter, he rolls the Odyssey 7 Bird putter. Meissner putts left-handed and strikes the ball right-handed.
