20 revealing photos from the 2015 Masters
Our weekly tour photos are great for checking out the latest equipment and apparel buzz in golf, or just killing time at work. But they’re also a great learning tool.
The photos from the 2015 Masters taught me a lot this week, and I share my newfound knowledge below.
Tiger Woods’ security guard ain’t nothin’ to mess with
And this is the most intimidating photo of a man wearing a pink golf shirt I’ve seen to date.
The Masters has its own water bottle labels
And I really want one as a souvenir.
Taylor Swift has a doppelganger prowling the grounds at Augusta National.
And she wears boots with really long laces.
Gary Woodland wears a 42 Long Green Jacket.
And uses a 48-degree Titleist Vokey 200 Series Spin Milled wedge with 10 degrees of bounce.
Don’t look at Rory’s Volt-colored golf bag for too long.
I learned this the hard way.
Chicago Bears fans really do exist
And they’re willing to admit that publicly.
Rickie Fowler has a new Matrix Prototype driver shaft in his Cobra Fly-Z+ driver
And he’s intrigued by Phil Mickelson’s Callaway Mack Daddy PM-grind wedge.
The Masters has its own drinking cups
Which I also need as a souvenir, immediately.
Jonas Blixt positions the FlipZone weight in the back setting on his Cobra Fly-Z+ driver
And still images of floating tees look cool.
Adam Scott is back to a long putter at the 2015 Masters
And he uses an actual level to warm-up on the putting green.
Tiger Woods is wearing his old TW ’11 golf shoes due to “swing changes.”
Looks like the new release pattern affects both chipping technique and wardrobe selections.
If you’re on a college budget, you can’t afford to not buy food at the Masters
And Augusta’s famous Pimento Cheese really is only $1.50.
The tee shot on hole No. 18 is as diabolically intimidating as it looks on TV
And it looks like laying up in front of the chute would be a heady play.
Snedeker’s caddy does NOT like when Tiger Woods is happy.
Seriously, can someone get stared down any harder?
The green complexes at Augusta look even more difficult than on TV
How many humps, bumps and breaks can you have on one green?
Tiger’s glove has a looser fit than his shirts
And he’s had a blister on his right middle finger for about 20 years now.
Ian Poulter owns the coolest Masters-themed putter cover of all time
All-pink everything
Bubba Watson even uses a pink Sharpie to mark his golf balls.
Half-log benches look awesome
Before seeing these photos, I had no idea I needed a half-log bench in my apartment. Now, it’s the only thing I truly need in the world.
Life exists in the town of Augusta, Ga. outside of the Masters

Slab city on the Korn Ferry Tour — Lead Tape Report
This week, we have our Tour Photographer, Greg Moore, on the ground at the OccuNet Classic at Tascosa Golf Club in Amarillo, Texas, for the 14th event of the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season. With that, we see some great things in the Lead Tape Report as we roll into Amarillo.
Joel Thelen
Monday Qualifier, Joel Thelen is in the field this week. He has played on the Korn Ferry Tour for a full season in 2023, and he is back in action this week. A couple of clubs caught my eye this week in his bag.
First off: His trusted Titleist 816 H2 hybrid. This club came out in October of 2015, and it still remains strong in the bag. Also, take a look at this Odyssey White Hot OG 7, putting a capital S in the 7S model. This custom neck has some impressive lean for an arm-lock-style putter. The bottom of the putter is covered in tape for optimal weighting.

Mitchell Meissner
Taking a look at Mitchell Meissner’s bag this week, we have some great lead tape coverage. Top to bottom working from fairway metals, irons, and wedges. We can see on the short irons and wedges that there is tape at the base of the grip, adding a little counterbalance. Along with that, some tape on the short irons and wedges as well. Moving to his putter, he rolls the Odyssey 7 Bird putter. Meissner putts left-handed and strikes the ball right-handed.

- macedan: “Started with a hand-me-down Golden Bear set from my brother when I was in high school, never really played more than once a year or got into the game until about summer of 2017. First purchased a set of Cleveland CG4’s (I actually really miss this set sometimes, soft & not terribly large for a GI iron), moved into Nike Vapor Fly’s by the end of the year. Those lasted until spring of 18 when I decided I wanted new, so I traded them in for TM Rbladez. Honestly, although I liked the Rbladez, poor decision on my part, I think this was really about the only time so far that after a week or two I was kicking myself for not staying with what I had. Rbladez stayed with me until late last summer when I switched to P790’s and (knock on wood) I am hoping this will be my longest lasting set.”
- JimmyC59: “MacGregor Jack Nicklaus Triple Crown. Palmer The Standard. Still play these.”
- jgrzask: “Tommy Armour 845u
Mizuno MP-32
Mizuno MP-33 (2 sets)
Bridgestone J33cb – still own
Srixon i-302 (2 sets) – still own
Tourstage X-Blades – still own
Mizuno Hot Metal – still own
Nike Forged Blades – still own
Titleist 714 AP1 – still own
Cobra Forged SS – still own”

Best part about buying the soft drinks and beer is that they come in a nice plastic cup with the Masters logo. You can keep the cup and use them at your house, they make a great addition to any cupboard!!

Excellent article In fact I have been to the Masters 3 times and the other night was explaining to my wife about the benches that If I owned a golf course those would be the benches I would have. Not there this week but will watch on D-TV and eat Pimento Cheese sandwiches. I got the recipe for those off another golf blog
