Yeah not completely accurate, 5 wood out utility iron in.
Greg

He may have had the 5 wood in play on Thursday when the Darrell Survey is done. All the print out info comes directly for the OEM (Callaway, in this case) with what the player had in play based on the Survey.

Looked like he was playing a Callaway X Utility prototype with PXi shaft. Pretty evident on the 15th tee.

I was surprised to see he didn’t have any marijuana in his bag.
Jon
Mar 24, 2014 at 12:43 pm
I don’t get it. Why would he have weed in his bag?
Fred

Marijuana? Man, did that comment come out of left field. Kinda leaves you shaking your head. I guess Paul smokes it and figures everyone else does too.

Where’s the article about Scott blowing his 3 shot lead? God knows that would be the headlines if it were Tiger who blew it. Any who, great first win for Every.

Remember when Steve Williams got his first win with Scott and said it was the best win he (Williams) ever had? I wonder if, now, he’ll man up and say Scott’s disaster at the Palmer was the worst loss he’s ever had.

Mar 23, 2014 at 8:30 pm
What about the driving iron???
Mike
Mar 24, 2014 at 10:32 am
That’s what I was hoping to see as well. If I recall properly from the broadcast it was a “specially designed” driving iron.

I could have sworn I saw a Big Bertha Alpha in his bag today.
Gerard
Mar 23, 2014 at 10:15 pm
Yeah me too, and a Big Bertha fairway wood instead of an X2 Hot…
Greg
Mar 24, 2014 at 6:51 pm
I checked with the Callaway Tour Reps here at Valero Texas Open and Matt did not have a Bertha Alpha in play at Bay Hill.
